Installing a room air conditioner in an awkward window? - computer room air conditioner
I want to install an air conditioner in my computer "space", where a large amount of heat through multiple computers and large LCD screens on all day generated.
I installed before air conditioning typical environment, but I have the problem that did not stop the bedroom window on the side instead is closed, a window is also quite high, about 8 meters high.
Home air conditioning company will sort can solve this problem for me? I guess they have nothing on the window to install the extra space above and below the window closes on the side door is probably too ugly.
Any tips?
For the record, I have the air-conditioned house, but the computer room is on average 10-20 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. So if you want to fix the computer room to 70-75 degrees, they have done to the air conditioner in the house at 60-65 degrees, which makes the living room is very cold and fix a waste of energy.

We had the same problem ..... My husband has put the server in the closet with a separate air-conditioning duct. We have put in the points, so you can add a portable fan here, even though it ....... too hot in your office, we have a large fan, air conditioning
ReplyDeleteAre there any cold air from openings in the room where the air in the center and is as strong as the exhaust opening and others in your house? If not, then you can verify that the channel leading to the room. Often it is BH ventilation ducts (in the basement, etc.) to "balance" the amount of heated or cooled air to each room.
ReplyDeleteThe installation of an air conditioner in a horizontal side of the sliding window in particular that about 8 feet can be a security risk. Somehow you could fill the gap at the top of the air conditioning on top of the window and a thief explode without any problems.
You might need a portable air conditioner, the windows will be downloaded and use the dryer with a cadence and sliding windows to keep. Easy to remove if you are not at home ..
The first thing I would do if he just tried to use a large box fan in the hallway outside your computer room to blow cold air into the room. In other words, if you do not open the door to the left of his mind.
